My Profile name doesn't like GoD!!!!!

Having issues with DC on my new computer not accepting my [GoD] Hard Nock profile name. I took the profile from my old PC and loaded into the new one but still no joy. I might try deleting all of the profiles and starting again. Even if I change the profile name (make a new one) called [GoD] Hard Nock it still shows up as just Hard Nock.

Any ideas???

Would be good to get this fixed before the scrim on Saturday!

Don't think that will work Isos'...

I'm not sure how to fix that lol, it will be ok if you play like that but it would be nice to fix it. Yeah maybe just delete all the profiles and make a new one? Or edit the default profile if it's still there maybe.

Have you tried changing your name in-game? Idea

After playing around I know what part of the problem is:

whatever I set the player name to changes to Hard Nock when I use it. Somehow it is not accepting anything other Hard Nock, but I can change the profile name.......?

Try right clicking on it and clicking 'Properties' and it might be in there.

And to change in-game open console (`/~ key) and type, "name "[GoD] Hard Nock"".

The .con files are merely text config files. Open them in notepad Razz

I tried that but it didn't work Sad

did a complete re-install yesterday........still didn't work Sad

But I did get my joystick working!!! Silly Microsoft, it lists each controller in order form 1 onwards and unless your joystick is at #1 it won't work on BF42 (or mods).

So I unplugged my other two controllers and........it WORKS!!!!
